Everything in the cohort was exceptional—be it Economic Analysis, Industry Evaluation, or Detailed Company Analysis. I always had a soft corner for finance and company analysis, but once I learned about the Equity Research and AVFM cohort, I couldn’t resist joining - and I’m glad I did.

Most of the content is aligned with real-world practices, and Parth Sir’s genuine nature and commitment to helping every individual made a huge difference. His availability for doubt-solving sessions and even one-on-one calls is a major advantage.He knows exactly how to guide you toward success. If you already have a basic understanding of financial terminology and a desire to align your skills with industry standards, this cohort is ideal.

The cohort helped me in developing my skills related to research which was the core of this profile. Not only research, Parth sir taught a way of life in which a person should always look to expand his knowledge. He not only taught us equity research but also how to be an actual professional. I was also asked to prepare an equity research report and this cohort taught me each and everything which was required in that report. The way sir explained concepts also helped me answer the various technical questions asked in the interview.

The cohort was exceptionally well-structured - from selecting the right sector and company to conducting a deep-dive analysis. The thing that stood out for me the most is how in-depth ratio analysis was covered by Parth Sir, which is often not much covered by various courses. Sir’s teaching was a real highlight, he introduced us to a wide range of finance jargon and concepts that help a finance enthusiast become a professional in equity research. The report-writing sessions were another valuable part of the cohort, even for someone already familiar with making presentations. What also stood out for me was Sir’s consistent integration of current events, whether market developments or global economic trends, which kept the sessions engaging and highly relevant.

I come from a science background and honestly, when I entered BBA, I didn’t even know what a balance sheet was. My academic journey was rough. I had backlogs in over 10 subjects, and finance felt completely out of reach. During my MBA, the pressure really hit me. That’s when I came across The Valuation School and joined the equity research cohort under Parth Sir. It changed everything for me. He simplified complex concepts and gave me the confidence to keep going. I started practicing, made equity reports, and began writing simple finance content on LinkedIn. I even ended up teaching my classmates the same concepts I once struggled with. The best part? One of my posts got noticed, and I received a message from a recruiter directly through LinkedIn. That was the moment I realized how far I’d come from not knowing what a balance sheet was, to getting a callback because of something I wrote. And all of that started with the right mentorship and the right community.

I joined cohort when i was CFA Level 1 candidate and i never have read any conference call script, annual report or any other investor presentation in my life, equity research cohort worked as a stepping stone for my career in finance field. The Cohort at The Valuation School provided a transformative learning experience. Prior to the program, complex financial concepts seemed like rocket science. However, the expert instruction, particularly from Parth sir, effectively demystified these challenges. The curriculum, encompassing fundamental analysis, financial modelling, and report writing, was both comprehensive and engaging. The emphasis on practical application, through real-world case studies and collaborative projects, solidified my understanding and fostered a deeper appreciation for the field of finance. This program has not only equipped me with valuable skills but also ignited a passion for further exploration in this domain.

The cohort gave me strong clarity on core valuation concepts, especially the DCF model, which helped during interviews. The interview prep classes and resume reviews were spot-on. Publishing content on LinkedIn (inspired by the cohort) helped me get noticed, which eventually led to an interview call.

Both the cohorts helped me a lot, as the approach in both the cohort was a mix of theory and practical, so it helped to understand the concepts in a better way. The real world insights and mentorship offered are invaluable. In conclusion, these cohorts has not only equipped me with the knowledge and skills needed in the industry but has given me a fresh perspective on how to make the most of the tools and platforms at my disposal.

Being part of the equity research cohort was an amazing experience. I learned so much about finance, how to analyze stocks, and even made some great friends. The program's focus on staying up-to-date with what's happening in the financial world was impressive. I'm thankful for the skills and connections I gained, they've been a big help in my career.

The Cohort helped me in getting comfortable with intricate concepts of Finance and learning the different nuances of Equity Research. Each and every part of the Cohort whether it be learning to research, analyze financial statements or the making of the research report, everything was taught really well. Being a person from a non-finance background, I could not have attended a better Cohort to enter the field of Finance. Really grateful to The Valuation School for this Cohort!
